Contempory Lesson 2
Today in lesson we spoke about how the comedy is that the truth is the tragic part of Linda.
We also spoke about the relationships in Linda:
Dave and Linda relationship in scene 5 was that Dave objective to manipulate Linda and, that Linda wants to keep on top of the business and her ambition.
Neil and Linda's relationship is that Neil wants to be important/ the hero. Where as Linda wants mutual respect and teamwork, and for Neil has understand he's just cheated and hurt her and she wants him to understand the consequences of what he's done.
We then also learnt that Linda in Spanish mean Pretty this could then lead to the answer as to why Skinner named the play Linda and called the character Linda, this could be a metaphor and therefore ties nicely into the play.
I also got my scene partner for my Linda duologue, page 124-129, with Tahj.
